I work in video, sculpture, robotics, programming, cyber art, and sound. In my works, I look for possible codes and courses of action in order to mediate my physical body through digital realms by drawing parallels between biological and mechanical or robotic processes. To do so, I usually utilize DIY building materials and organic materials such as plants, algae, etc.

I build systems, (physical or computerized), taking one type of information and turning it into something else; Sometimes, this information is physiological (like heartbeats and body metrics), and sometimes digital (from websites and search engines). These systems have the potential for eternal life. They are designed to function on their own and for themselves without any human involvement. By undergoing this process, they transform into breathing, pulsating organisms that act autonomously and repetitively as long as electricity flows through their veins. The objects I produce are hybrids between the digital and the real, breathing life into their static bodies and revealing the sexual and conscious powers inherent to matter, light, water, sound, and space.
